Language
Filipino is the spoken language but Davaoeños are
fluent English speakers. The local language is Cebuano and Davaoeño. "Madayaw"
is a known word for good.
Climate
Davao is blessed with a magnificently typhoon free
climate because of its latitudinal location near the equator. In the last
century only two typhoons were recorded to hit the region. It has a normal
atmospheric condition or a climate perfect for a vacation. Throughout the year,
rainfall is less distributed. Maxiamum Rain usually falls in December and
January. The average annual temperature is 27.3 degree celsius.

Most shops are open from 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Malls and

Davao City is a smoke free city. Smoking is banned in
shopping centers, malls, cinemas, restaurants and public transit. There

Davao's tap water is clean and safe. Davao was ranked
third among the cities of the world having safest water supply.
Taxicabs
Taxicabs are available 24/7. Be at you comfort and safe
in taking a transit because this taxi cabs are monitored to ensure that you are
sent with sound driving.
Jeepneys
This is the most available transit. A Filipino
improvised jeepney will only cost you a minimum of P 7.00 this includes an
honest and smiling drivers.
